The funny thing about this world some would say is that it is run by people who are too short sighted to see what is best for all mankind. The truth of the matter is the world runs with or without us. Certainly we influence the world around us in many ways but that doesn't mean we control it in any way. I will slow down a freight train going at top speed by standing in front of it, the laws of relativity hold true. A handful of coal energy will even be consumed making up for the fraction of lost momentum incurred by the fracture of my exploding body.

 

Humanity better wake up soon. While we try to pass laws that regulate emissions on vehicles we drive every day the freight train is barreling towards us. If you do not at least recycle you alone are responsible for the coming of the next ice age. A period that will in all likelihood kill all human beings on earth. The industrial revolution has painted us into a corner figuratively and literally. Mass production of everything from rubber tires to twinkies has quickened our path to such glorious TV drama subjects like obesity, global warming, divorce and lets not forget the all encompassing depression.
